Protecting Yourself

Safety For Yourself And Others

Safety for yourself and others is of great importance – especially in the work environment. But how can you ensure that both you and your employees and the environment are safe? Further training offers the solution. By regularly following a (repetitive) safety course, you can carry out the work with more self-confidence. In addition, some certificates are simply mandatory in the workplace.
Follow a VCA course
Do you want to be sure of your ability to do business safely and responsibly? A VCA course is a versatile and complete program with which service companies make objective use of a checklist. This checklist tests the competence of the entrepreneur in the areas of safety, health and the environment. This checklist shows that you as an entrepreneur are capable of meeting all the set requirements – and therefore can operate safely. This checklist is important for you as an entrepreneur, but also for your employees and other interested parties. The VCA course is an obligation for entrepreneurs in specific sectors (for example construction).
first aid course
Both you as an entrepreneur and your employees can only benefit from following a first aid course. This course teaches you to provide first aid in the event of an accident . A course that could just save lives. For example, you learn how to perform CPR and how to act in case of an accident.
BHV course
The emergency response course is comparable to the first aid course. Where the first aid course focuses on general emergencies (and is therefore also very useful outside working hours), the emergency response course focuses specifically on industrial accidents. How do you act in the event of a fire, an accident or an employee who has become unwell? Not only is this course a good addition, it is also mandatory to employ at least 2 or 3 emergency response qualified employees. This way, someone can always act in an emergency.
Hazardous Substances
In some professions (such as in the construction sector) it can be very important to be able to work safely with hazardous substances. Consider, for example, an asbestos training . In other professional groups (such as for truck drivers or in the case of freight forwarding) it is again important to be qualified to be able to transport these goods. Different rules and laws apply to every dangerous substance or dangerous good. Make sure that your staff is in all cases qualified annually for dealing with these substances and goods.
